"REDOLZ Essentials 12 fabric case - light, functional and safe"

The REDOLZ Essentials 12 fabric case impressed me in many ways. First of all, it is extremely light and yet surprisingly robust. The light weight is particularly advantageous on longer trips, as you can take more luggage with you without exceeding the weight limits.

The four wheels make maneuvering the suitcase a breeze, and the TSA lock provides additional security. The expansion pleat is a practical feature that allows you to expand the suitcase if necessary without compromising stability.

The interior is well thought out and offers plenty of space for clothing and accessories. The dividers allow for easy organization, and the numerous pockets and compartments ensure orderly storage.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the REDOLZ Essentials 12 fabric suitcase. It meets all my requirements for a reliable and practical piece of luggage. I can therefore recommend it with a clear conscience.

Great look and good quality at a fair price

Very pretty but very simply equipped
A very nice and lightweight case with rather minimalist features. We have others in the same price range from another manufacturer that have slightly more compartments and fastening straps. Nevertheless, it is of course worth the money and we will keep it.

First of all: I ordered 2 cases of this model, one in light gray, one in dark gray/"black". The criticism applies equally to both.

On the positive side:
The case arrived quickly and well packed. Visually, it matches the picture and I like it. The wheels run well. The fabric handle feels good and there is a small open fabric "pocket" on the outside of the bottom of the case, which is easy to reach into when you're moving the case around.

On the negative side:
- I couldn't find out where the case was produced.
- Despite being aired and used several times, the case smells disturbingly strong and unpleasantly of chemicals.
- The frame wobbles quite a bit.
- The inner fabric, presumably a synthetic fabric, feels papery.
- Contrary to the description, there is no additional inner pocket with a zipper in the interior in addition to the "laundry compartment" in the lid. Although this cannot be seen in the ambiguous pictures, it is mentioned in the text (more clearly on amazon).
- A subsequent call to your "service" did not provide any clarification regarding the inner pocket, which was important to me. They didn't seem to really know the product, made general statements and didn't offer me any internal clarification despite a possible contradiction between the picture and the text.
- I weighed my suitcase and it weighed approx. 3.1 kg, which is significantly more than the 2.76 kg stated.

The price was 20% lower due to a voucher promotion and then amounted to approx. 56 euros per item. A good price, if it weren't for the criticism mentioned above. If I hadn't needed the cases urgently, they would have been returned. Hopefully they will at least prove to be durable.

My conclusion: In future, I will prefer to invest in retail again for such purchases. Here I can look at the cases, touch them, smell them, check the weight and notice any annoying features in advance. There is no disappointment when I receive the goods and no time-consuming returns. As retailers have to keep the goods in stock and offer qualified (i.e. expensive for them) advice, this disappointing experience with an online retailer will motivate me to leave an extra euro or two and get the product I wanted in return.
