Evoc: Munich quality luggage for passionate cyclists
Cyclists have very different requirements for luggage compared to travelers, which is why Evoc was created to fully meet these needs. The company, founded in 2008 in Germany, operates successfully in the Giesing district of Munich. It currently employs around 30 staff members who work together on design, product development, and sales. In addition to luggage for spring and summer, the range also includes backpacks, bags, and other products for autumn and winter. Despite the focus on cycling luggage, winter travel luggage occupies a special place in the product range.
High standards for functionality, protection, and quality
As a German brand, it is not surprising that every Evoc backpack and cycling bag is made with the utmost care. Germany has much stricter standards than most other countries. The result is outdoor products that can even compete in quality with established brands like Vaude. To ensure this quality, the following measures are taken:

It is worth noting that, unlike design, production does not take place in Germany. Products such as the classic Evoc backpack are instead produced in China or Vietnam. Evoc Backpacks
No product meets the needs of the target group as well as the Evoc backpack. This is unsurprising, given the wide selection of models, from smaller backpacks for short trips to larger ones for demanding trails. All Evoc backpacks feature excellent ergonomics. Thanks to efficient ventilation, good padding, and well-designed carrying systems, the backpacks provide optimal comfort even on longer rides. In addition, the smart compartment layout allows cyclists to store their gear quickly and neatly. Besides classic backpacks, the brand also offers specialized models, such as hydration backpacks. These do not differ significantly from other models; their uniqueness lies in the hydration bladder, which ensures proper hydration at all times.
Evoc Cycling Bags
The best alternative to an Evoc backpack is an Evoc cycling bag. There is also a wide selection here, including top tube bags, frame bags, and saddle bags. Functionally, almost all cycling bags are the same; what distinguishes them is the attachment method. Frame bags are attached directly to the bike frame, while saddle bags are mounted under the saddle. If you don’t want to attach the bag directly to the bike, hip bags are also an option. They can be worn flexibly without restricting freedom of movement.
Evoc Travel Luggage
Although cyclists are the main target group, Evoc’s range also caters to travelers. Consequently, various types of travel luggage are offered. Popular items include wheeled travel bags. These flexible bags, which are constructed similarly to a trolley, fall under soft luggage and offer a solid storage capacity of approximately 60–70 liters. There are also travel bags without wheels. These are suitable not only for traveling but also for everyday activities such as work, shopping, and sports. Even cabin trolleys are occasionally offered, but they play a relatively minor role in the assortment.
Other Evoc Products
High-quality luggage is primarily what Evoc is associated with. However, the company also offers other products worth mentioning. For cyclists, the range of protective gear is particularly interesting. This includes equipment for elbows, knees, and torso. These can often prevent the worst injuries in case of a fall. Another noteworthy category is clothing. Cyclists benefit the most, but there are also items such as caps and hats suitable for anyone.

One of Evoc’s core features is its strong focus on protection. The company even advertises that it does everything possible to provide the safest equipment on the market. This is not just an empty promise – the company’s management has visited 50 destinations over 20 years and thoroughly examined local trails. There is no shortage of real-world experience to design products that truly perform under actual conditions. Since production takes place in Asia, not Germany, many customers wonder whether Evoc luggage is truly German quality. The answer is largely yes, as intensive quality inspections are a key part of the company’s philosophy. The company aims to maintain a consistently high level of quality. Production facilities in China and Vietnam comply with strict German requirements. Regarding product development, the brand makes no compromises – all steps are carried out in Germany.
